THE BIG 4

It's hard to believe it, but Carson turned 4 today. He (along with the other kids) was excited to open gifts this morning. Luckily, we don't have church until 11:00 so there was plenty of time to play with the "goods."Just mix Hot Wheels and a T-Rex and you've got a toy set any boy (or girl named Miranda) would like. Am I sick of the roaring sound the dino makes yet? Not quite. Give it a few days.

End the day with pizza and chocolate cake and . . .

you've got a happy birthday boy.

Janitorial Service?

I think Eve must be looking through my windows. Why else would she leave this on my door this morning?!?!

Look what Brown Delivered

Our much anticipated package came via UPS on Tuesday (we are easily excited). Okay, powdered eggs may not sound real appetising, but we think it would be nice to have in case of an emergency.

Dad's Lap

Doug can't sit down without having at least one child hop up on his lap. Lucky for him, they do grow out of it. I can't remember the last time Tanner got on his dad's lap. That would be quite the lap-full!

Scooter the Cat

This is Scooter, the ever loyal canine member of the family. Poor Scooter has gotten the shaft since Gabe has come along. Before Gabe was born he, Miranda and I would take a daily walk. Now those walks have become very infrequent, much to his dismay.
During Lunch the other day Doug noticed Scooter had caught something-A MOUSE! Yuck, but I'm glad it wasn't in the house. (I took a video but can't get it to download, so just use your imagination. There was lots of jumping and flicking it around.)
This dog needs a hobby!

The Sick House

This house has certainly seen it's share of sickness throughout the past few weeks. Fortunately, I managed to avoid getting too sick, but everyone else has been hit full force. I decided to cancel school yesterday and today (sick brains don't work very well!) and do some much needed deep cleaning while the kids wallow in their misery.

Got Snot?!?!

It's amazing what a baby can do with a runny nose!
