Playin' With The Boys

On Saturday the weather was relatively nice (a blistering 45 degrees!) so the older kids took part in a little target practice with Doug.
I love it! Nothing more to say.

Spring Fever?

Doug got the urge to get the tiller out today. After all the snow and rain we've gotten lately, the ground was in good condition to be worked. He'll find any excuse to get out the machinery!

Tuesday the wind howled all day and into the night. The kids were restless all night long. This morning Miranda called our attention to this scene in the backyard, no, excuse me, our neighbor's backyard:

The tramp managed to travel like a kite over the fence without damaging the fence or the power lines above. We're just glad the wind blows from the south rather than the north. What we would give for an instant replay of this one!

Birthday Boy!

10 years ago this boy decided to make his grand entrance into the world. He was due about 2 weeks prior, but decided to take his own sweet time. He was certainly worth the wait.

New Year's Breakfast

We celebrated the New Year with waffles, pancakes, ham and eggs. Yum! The kids love it when dad is in charge of breakfast.
