Toothy Grin

I'd forgotten how fun the teething stage is!!!!
(Don't let the smile fool you. We had to drug him up for this one. ;) )

A Trip to the Farm Store

We had a little excursion to the farm store this afternoon. The kids were in search of baby chickens, but found turkeys and bunnies instead.
These turkeys were $16.00 a piece. WOW! Do they do tricks?Carson really liked the bunnies.

Clarification

Perhaps I need to clarify in regards to my last post: Doug DID score me some wood chips. That's what all the tractor driving was all about. (I would've explained that, but blogger wouldn't let me type anything w/o making it blue and underlined.)

I'm a happy woman!

My Dear Sweet Doug

Problem: Weeds grow like, well, weeds in the pathways of my garden and I just can't keep up with them.

Solution: Sweet talk my husband into getting the tree trimming guys to dump their wood chips in our driveway so we can line the pathways with them. ;)

I don't want diamonds. I just want wood chips.

Look who's 7!

Our run of spring birthdays continued with Garrett's birthday on Monday. He was counting down the days-just a wee bit excited.

He was quite pleased with his gift from The Robot Store. This kid is fascinated with engines, motors, really anything with moving parts.

Redneck or Just Innovative?

How do you get a play structure from Point A to Point B? Put some logs under it, hook up the suburban and pull it of course!
Just like the Egyptians did it.

Men (and Women) At Work

In order to expand the garden area we had to relocate the clothesline. This meant that Doug needed to move a pole with a 200 lb hunk of cement attached to it. Good thing he had plenty of help!

Now my clothesline is about 20 feet closer to the house. Lucky me!

Get the Creativity Flowing

The first five people to respond to this post will receive something made by me. HOMEMADE!
The item will be my choice made just for you!
Restrictions and Limitations:
1. I have complete creative freedom
2. What I create will be just for you
3. It will be done within the next 6 months
4. You have no clue what it will be. It may be personalized note cards. I might bake something. I might not think of anything until 6 months from now...
The catch? You must re-post this on your own blog and offer the same giveaway to 5 people who comment. The first 5 people to leave a comment telling me they are in, will win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift from me! Be sure to post a picture of what you get!
Anyone past the 6th comment will be entered in a drawing for another item!
Thanks Denise!

"Bad Memory Card, Bad Memory Card!"

Much to my dismay, I have a memory card full of digital pics from the last few weeks, but I cannot get either computer to upload anything. I had a list of posts that I wanted to do along with the pics. This is very frustrating! So I guess this means 120 or so pictures down the drain. I didn't realize a memory card could go bad?!?!?
