New Year's Baby

Wow, how time flies! Max is 11 years old now. Each year, as his birthday arrives I feel a bit guilty that he has to have his birthday just a week after Christmas. And to think, we planned it this way!!! Who does that to their child? What were we thinking?

We have told him that he could pick out another date to celebrate, but really, who would want to have a party on a day that is NOT his birthday. Luckily, Max is not the type to complain. That's one of the many things I like best about him. He's never given us an ounce of grief over our poor planning. So all is well.
