A Good Batch

I've read several places that you can substitute ground flax seed for oil in recipes, but never tried it until a month ago. It turns out beautifully. When replacing the oil, use 3x the amount of flax. My bread recipe calls for 2/3 of a cup of oil. I used 1/3 cup of oil and replaced the other 1/3 cup of the oil with 1 cup of ground flax. It gave the bread wonderful texture and kept it nice and soft.
