Now you hear it...now you don't

Ever wonder what the inside of your washer looks like? Well, we got to find out. Unfortunately, the washer went ka-put just a few days before Gabe decided to arrive. It began to make this awful clunking noise-anything but quiet. Maytag wanted $440 for parts to fix the problem. My clever Doug managed to get the bearings out and replaced them for $50! Move over Maytag Man!

Now it's back in one piece and as quiet as the day we bought it.
