Mini-Farmers
This summer the kids each planted a 3ft x 6ft garden spot along the fence line in the backyard. Tanner and Max harvested carrots from their garden spots last week. They were so sweet and yummy-much better than from the grocery store.

Aren't home grown carrots so yummy! How great your kids all plant something. So are you home schooling them again this year!? I want to know more about it - we need a blog post on it! e.g. do they have Summer holidays like other kids, or do you work year round? Do they have set hours they have to do stuff or is it just 'go with the flow'? Fill me in :)
i agree homegrown are so much better. i remember the first year we harvested and the kids were fighting over them and i thought "who's kids are these?" actually fighting over real food rather than candy!
