Garrett and Miranda sportin' their pioneer duds in 100+ degrees

The children are so excited to go to Grandma and Grandpa's house. I've had to keep them busy so they don't drive me nuts talking about when we're packing, what we're eating on the way, where everyone is going to sit in the van...the usually worries of going on a trip.

This afternoon, after directing a thorough cleaning of the house, I took the kids swimming. We had a fun time and it took the kids minds off the heat and the upcoming trip.

As the kids dribbled into the house Garrett came up to me and exclaimed,
"It's almost zero days 'til we go to Idaho! I'm so excited!"
